記憶には薄れゆくものもあれば、一生忘れられないものもあります。コロラド州のCasey BrewingのTroy Casey氏に初めて会ったのは、まさに後者の思い出の一つです。Troy氏と初めて会ったのは、Moonlight Brewingの伝説的なホップ畑で、約20年前のことでした。そこでは、私たち数人がホップ摘みとDeath & Taxesのパイントビールを飲むために集まっていました。それ以来、Troy氏は友人であり、醸造の精神を同じくする仲間であり続けています。この揺るぎない友情と絆を祝うため、私たちはソバ、赤小麦、白小麦、そしてそれぞれのハウスカルチャーを独自に組み合わせた、複雑で個性的なセゾンを共同で作り上げました。これは、絆は時の流れや物理的な場所を超えて生き続けるという理念を称える頌歌です。Sante!

Some memories fade while others last a lifetime. Our first time meeting Troy Casey of Colorado’s Casey Brewing is one of the latter. We first met Troy almost 20 years ago in the legendary hop yard of Moonlight Brewing where a number of us had convened to pick hops and drink pints of Death & Taxes. Since then,Troy has remained a friend and kindred brewing spirit. In celebration of that lasting friendship and connection, we’ve collaborated on a complex and unique saison made of buckwheat, red wheat, white wheat and a unique combination of our house cultures. The result is an ode to the idea that bonds can survive beyond the passing of time and physical location. Sante!
