A Belgian Strong ale unlike any others. This beer holds a deep caramel malt profile with
tropical hops and fruity belgian esters. Aromatic, complex and strong, this beer is meant
to be sipped and savored.

≪Brewer's Comment≫
"Monk's Indiscretion was first brewed back in 2008 on my deck as a homebrewer.
The idea was to showcase hop aroma and flavor without the bitter..Now that's all the rage but at the time, it was a bit of an unexplored area. The hop was called HBC 394 because it didn't have a name yet (Hop Breeding Company), and was one of the first hops developed to truly have tropical fruit aromas and flavors. I thought the perfect platform for doing this would be the chimay belgian yeast because of the banana aromas it gives off. My homebrew club loved it, and it was one of the first beers brewed at Sound in 2010.
